Hospitalization




Call the doctor if you have any of the following symptoms: (this may lead to hospitalization)



        Heavy obstacle, nausea or vomiting continuously for more than two hours.
Swelling of your stoma to more than a half inch larger than ususal.
Abundance of bleeding stoma.
Severe aqueous discharge from the stoma, which has a bad smell and lasts longer than five to six hours.
Unusual, strong odors from the stoma, for more than one week.
Purple, black, or white stoma.
Severe skin irritation or deep ulcers.
Frequent lickeage from your pouching system.
Change in size or appearance of your stoma, causing discomfort or problems with your bag.
You skinning it imprudent.
Weight gain or weight loss that causes problems with your bag.
